Good to see some work on the homepage, but there's still so much potential! I wish I could mark activity messages as read and remove them from the feed. It should behave more as an "inbox"

Just updated to the newest version, which seems to change quite dramatically how gpg-agent works. I can no longer figure out how to limit a gpg-agent to the current shell (the old version relied on environment variables which were easy to k

The Blink app for mosh/ssh allows to remap caps-lock to esc on the SmartKeyboard. This made the iPad more than usable for (remote) programming in vim

Is there a way to disable this? In an HPC environment, I don't want routines going multi-core without my explicit permission, under any circumstances. I will already have manually set up the parallelization to be at the highest logical

Yeah, tmux is pretty powerful all by itself, and perfectly suited for pair-programming, assuming ssh is set up. I wrote a little wrapper script a while ago to handle the setup of the ssh keys on a temporary basis (the partner's SSH key

It's very bare-bones, but the solution that works most reliably for me is still https://awwapp.com (has been around for ages) That still leaves a lot of room for improvement. I'd love to see something that has a native

I like Divvy, too. I wonder how hard it would be to snap Divvy's GUI overlay onto these Linux tools. I frequently want to arrange windows not just in halves of the screen, but in thirds. I find that gets cumbersome with keyboard shortc

Even using SSH I find it to be much snappier than the competition. Killer feature for me: key repeat and remapping caps-lock to escape on the Apple Keyboard. I'm actually amazed how Blink manages to go beyond what I thought were fundam

Python may just not be good choice of language for your problem. Have you looked at Julia? It claims to be fast for the kinds of things you're doing, and it shares a lot of the Python ecosystem -- the Ju in Jupyter is from Julia, i.e.,
