With every year, I care less and less about comparing myself with my peers. I reached a level I can have a very comfortable life with and anything after this is gravy. I will work hard and try to level up but I won’t grind or trade any of m

There’s many companies where security engineers never write a line of code and never pen test. They can be caught up in process and theory in the same way some scrum masters can. They often lack an understanding of the code and architecture

I’ve been a developer in a security champion like role for many years now. I’d first like to say that developers are casually interested in security and will try to do the best they can. I’d say the interest in security is about the same as

I would spend a lot more time outdoors and doing sports. I would also have more energy for my kids when they are at home. I’m such a better dad when I’m not burned out.

Your average gas stove isn’t going to get any hotter. I’ve played with them at my in-laws including the very high btu ones and my induction beats it on heat and efficiency any day.

Really? With induction and power boost on I can preheat a cast iron pan in seconds. It usually smokes so I generally don’t. It’s got insane power delivery.

Usually what I see in the preview on my damn screen is more or less exactly what I want captured unless I muck with the exposure settings. More often than not, iphone gets clever and takes a completely different picture.

Win32 could do it all. And in windows there was often a different way to handle things like video across each major OS version. Yet still, I feel it was simpler! Crazy!!

Certain media is reporting strikes on airbases that are bombing civilian infra as “escalation”. There’s definitely no shortage of people who believe Ukraine having territorial sovereignty is too hardline for negotiations.

Funny because EV is a losing strategy if everyone tries to get giant long-range batteries. Resourcing that many minerals is quite a problem. Small batteries and hybrid for long trips might be the winner after all. 95% of car trips are alrea

I’d say for micro services and large distributed system, you do need a pyramid of testing with most covered at the unit level. The system is just too large and continuously changing as all the different versions of services release.
