Hmm, sorry I did not mean to imply that. It is indeed true that both docker volumes and k8s PVs are just host bind mounts. However I did mean to clarify that - k8s does not uses docker volumes. Whatever performance issues one notices could

Yeah this can't be stressed enough. Persistent volumes in Kubernetes are simply bind mounts that exist in your container's namespace. They don't go through docker's storage driver at all. There should be zero penalty for

As an Indian - yeah Mosquitos are a real problem in SE Asia. The usual techniques of dealing with them are - use mosquito nets. In a different video the owners have a mosquito net on the bed frame. Usually with mosquito net, they are a non-

Runs 5000 games run on Linux vs runs well on Linux. Unfortunately - Linux still has some way to go. Generally, you get lower FPS on Linux(could matter for competitive gaming). There are graphical glitches and artifacts even on well supporte

I dunno where you are getting your numbers from but currently 9700k is approximately 40% costlier than 2700x. $420 vs $280. Heck - I can walk into nearby microcenter can get both 2700x CPU + motherboard at $350.

It will be really interesting to see how the community reacts when they revoke H4-EADs. It is one thing that you did not had ability to work for years and then you did and suddenly you don't.

So I have tried using pi-hole in past and I think one of the problems is - some websites refusing to function if ads are blocked. IIRC - British Airways website uses some javascript that requires ad to be disabled for finishing checking in.

I would hold my horses on xfs being unsupported claim. They explicitly said any modern file system with xattr is supported. XFS does fit that description. OP has drawn his own conclusions from the Dropbox reply.
