The data from actual period trackers would be great for building this. Use it to train a neural network on some nVidia cards and you could dredge up all kinds of patterns in accelerometer data or Hulu viewing history and generate plenty of

I agree that Microsoft in particular cannot be trusted to do this. They will inevitably display the same warning if the user attempts to view, say, the Halloween documents or visit Linux.org.

I am surprised that the picture in the article is their working environment. Is it really necessary in a tech company that everyone be asses-to-elbows like so?

It's clear that no one should be working in a mine without at minimum an N95 mask and probably a PAPR (powered air purifying respirator). I wonder if there is any reason at all, other than preserving corporate profit margins, that the

My life is my life, not a revenue stream for these parasites to capture. Adblocking isn’t good enough. There needs to be a way to punish these people and cost them money.

There must be something important there because Facebook is making money off it. But it’s YOUR data and that money is yours too. Facebook is STEALING from you. Mark is the greatest con artist in history.

The essence of Slack is to solve the problem “IRC is broken because my company doesn’t own it.” Slack’s only value prop is to its shareholders and no one should bother to use it.
