I disagree. While it would do a lot of damage, the advantage of a properly scalable and functioning decentralized cryptocurrency (not implying BTC is the right one) is that it cannot be controlled by any central bank, or anyone else. That

Bitcoin is a beautiful concept that has been bastardized by economies of scale. The mining concentration is decreasing its security over time. The centralized block structure and exorbitant fees will afflict it more and more as it grows. Ev

This is the reason I'm rooting for the underdog DPoS/ORV currencies like Nano. Bitcoin is slow, too expensive to run and is becoming increasingly centralized--the opposite of what it was trying to be.

I'm ready to be downvoted to oblivion, especially by all the Bitcoin purists, but I hope my message sparks at least some curiosity. Bitcoin is getting "weaker" every year for several reasons: - emerging centralization due t

I remember the first time I saw my friend use AIM. It was similar to the first time I saw another friend play GTA III. Both times, we were all huddled together, trying to make sense of this mind-boggingly new experience. I miss that sense o

Out of all the options I've researched, the one I'm considering investing my development time into is Nano. 0 transaction fees, <<1s transaction times, already decentralized and a great community. It's a very polarizing

I have no vested interested in any cryptocurrency, but I have been researching them in the last few months due to the bull run. The polarized views on Nano are actually what drew me to research it more in depth compared to other alt coins.

If only Nano had first-mover advantage! I'm rooting for it though, it's everything BTC should have been.

I agree. What's also absurd is that Tesla raised $5B and now is parking 30% of that in Bitcoin, which we all know has a unique history of volatility. This is not going to end well.
