Not that I use instagram, but why would I pay for ads removed when every other post is an ad anyways?

So we've come back to MVVM KnockoutJS-style frameowkrs after they went out of fashion oh so many years ago.

Same. I'm sure there ARE some mediocre men there, but turning this into a "women good men bad post" really ruined it for me.

On touchscreen vertical height of the touch is mapped to velocity - really nifty

I only noticed half way through you could adjust velocity depending on vertical touch. Really nifty! More expressive and fun than I expected. Bravo.

Just FYI: if you’re a fan of uBlock Origin and can’t stand mobile ads, I highly recommend Kagi’s Orion browser. It’s great on iOS and overall better than safari + it has chrome and Firefox extension support.

I wouldn't say it's totally irrelevant...it translates to slow dev builds, slow dev startup, etc. Especially considering SvelteKit may be ~150 mb, but npm i is a couple seconds and npm run dev is basically instant . I'm bi

I'm used to Svelte, and I remember last year when I tried to install a basic NextJS starter template (create-nextjs-app) I had to wait a minute or so for all the npm dependencies to install. I then checked my project folder and it was

All the comments here focus on the complexity/beaurocracy/contract/etc, without realizing there are companies like Deel that take all that complexity away. Also, some (smart) startups also have full time contractor agreements

Aprico is a neat idea, but as soon as you face a website that has stupid requirements like a character limit, specific banned characters (like symbols), or other it has no way of adjusting for that and you have to start tracking exception

Just a bug I noticed: the lowest two sizes (0.64rem and 0.512rem) displayed on the settings panel, are not part of the outputted CSS.

It's the 80/20 ratio - going from working MVP of a chat app takes about 5kb, but then you have literally nothing else that makes something like linen or slack usable for lots of different edge cases (styling, file uploads, channel

Completely useless, but I was curious about the token indexes. I tried to look for Token #0. After a couple minutes of trial and error, it turns out it's the exclamation mark.
