As someone who has written a game (To The Stars 3D on iPhone) and as someone who has gone through many different routes, I would suggest taking a look at Unity3D. They have a free version and they really take a large portion of the pain out

I think the innovation in using words like that is to take a concept that might require sentences to explain and distill it into one word. I agree there isn't necessarily a disruptive breakthrough, but I think the concept is now more easily

I could probably clarify a few things. I built the paywall used at WSJ. WSJ's paywall is actually "porous" by design. The reasons for this have a lot to do with how news is discovered. Aggregators like Digg.com or Reddit.com can send a lot
