Creativity Inc is a great book and I also wish I worked for Ed Catmull when I finished it. Didn't somebody have an illicit backup copy of most of it and they were able to get most of what they needed back from that?

On the flipside, API's like maps have had stable versions that are deprecated for years.

Too right. The madness arrives when you have to retrofit the mapping and people have used different uid numbers for the same user and different users have the same uid across machines.

I worked a year on the UK government digital service, they really were trying to do things differently, it was a really great experience with real teams working in a supportive atmosphere. I think the 2 services share some DNA and If you ge
