Does this work if you want to have a family and say one child and have a healthy life? I dont see the hours there: - say you sleep 8h - 1h = taking care of your body (shower, toilet, washing hands) for entire day - 2h eating and eating prep

Kids brain and adult brain are different. The same goes for body - this is why some medicine cannot be taken by kids. As an example (I am not a doctor) the neocortex is not fully developed until maybe 20s. Thus what works for you as an adul

Please let's make a difference between what a parent can do (and what you propose is doable) and what a community can do. I allow restricted access to my kid: no mobile phone access, limited time to watch cartoon, no tv, limited access

My kid does not have a phone yet but he is still young. I talk with parents of kids a bit older like 10 and it is very hard to keep these limits when most of their colleagues don't have these limits. I agree with you that what we do no

I am dismissing it because I don't see if feasible to implement this. To keep this practical, please tell me how would you implement this for 10.000 kids. Concrete plans: - Will you give parents those free phones? - Will you control en

I think you should pick Rails. It now has by default support for Hotwire -> https://hotwired.dev and it also comes by default with support for importmaps (so you will not even need to install nodejs) and it works with Tailwin

Just to put this into perspective to other people: Rails 3 was released in 2010 Rails 7 was released in 2022 Considering the speed of change in JS and CSS in 12 years I am pretty haply with only 3 big changes.
