That's awfully wasteful on behalf of the company. Why not just ask for a raise instead, or give them away as gifts?

The top 1% of Canadian earners earn $200k. Mortgages here are typically 4x your salary, so even with a modest 5x mortgage one would still need a $400k downpayment to purchase the average detached home worth $1.4m, and average is not pretty.

It's common to feel this way[1] while grinding leetcode. It's not common software engineering practice and so it's largely uncomfortable. The leetcode questions you pass in the interview you won't see on the job. Leetcod

The market is emotion driven. With rising stock everyone touts they won't sell during the hard times, but when the hard times hit everyone sings the tune of gloom. We literally have zero idea what the market will bring.

Likely because one would “applaud the effort”. If I can’t prove to the interviewer that I’m capable of going beyond leetcode, by building my own language to solve the same problem, then I might as well memorize a thousand solutions to cheat

Good stuff. void* in itself is great for generics. C does support a templating system, like C++, with a little (reasonable) preprocessor abuse. It gives great cache contiguous results: https://www.github.com/glouw/ctl
