People would just release versions with the adverts cut. What do you think goes on with HDTV releases at the moment?

They do not have fantastic uptime.

I remember reading rumors that this happened to some random user when the site went a bit wrong and they posted the information to the SR forums. I think it then got deleted fast. Could that have been the source of the ip leak?

I find it infuriating on reddit. The fact it follows markdown indentation rules is completely unintuitive to someone who hasn't read the markdown specification. Given how little people actually want to do complicated formatting I think

by glomph 12y ago
Maybe that is because those rules are to make the game more fun to watch not to make it funner to play.

But that time serves a purpose for security. So for the proposed solution the time would have to increase from 10 minutes to 10 minutes + how ever much time we want to save hashing energy for.
217.
by glomph 12y ago
Wouldn't that mean you could only have new transactions when the next magic number comes out?
218.
by glomph 12y ago
But the solution you objected to is perfectly fair. How is yours more scientific?

Yeah it is a key plot device in quite a few of Ursula Le Guin books. Pretty sure Card even gives credit in the appendix of one of his books.

Eh. I thought MDMA was largely made in Holland and Canada. Hardly hotbeds of violence.

How long do you keep media?

Aren't there quite a few free unblockers?

Subsidies, taxes and regulation. Public awareness campaigns education and so on. All of these can change the way people approach a problem like this. The beginning of course is articles like this one.

The mapquest one is actually useable. Almost as good as google.

You have just asserted your view that Solar/ Wind are only useful sources for peaking but the linked article contains an argument that they could plausibly be used for base load (with a linked sources). It seems reasonable to consider

Has any one made a directions engine that runs on OSM in the browser?

by glomph 12y ago
That is an argument for better digital storage. Not cumbersome and expensive dead tree storage.

I just don't understand how this could be better than either looking behind you or a mirror. I guess I would have to try it though.

I recently read Tingworld for the first time and honestly I found it pretty painfully outdated. I mean obviously the imagination involved was significant at the time but I don't feel like it has aged well.

How do you solve the safety for children/ young people problem? That is what has lead to many similar applications shutting down.

Drag the torrent you want to add onto the client.
232.
by glomph 12y ago
You can use it to stream any torrent. Obviously that doesn't change its primary function but it is a little different to your claim.

In their case though that wouldn't have been a problem as each word was split on a single space.

Only if they visit the page just before. Seems plausible they would read about it, set it up and then drop their documents at a later date as a default behavior. I agree it would probably be a good idea to put a warning about such a problem

Pretty sure that is the only reason that this hasn't been fleshed out into a fuller anti drm system. It is easier to get it drm free from other sources and they get it sooner.

:( on the bbc one. There are plenty of free proxies that you could use that wouldn't waste the tor network bandwith for something that doesn't really need 100% anonymity.

What is the use to an exit node in knowing that someone is reading cryptome zzaper forbes vimeo and nytimes? Presumably you are not going to transfer any identifying info to these sites.

I always type hckrnews.com (but it is an alternative front page design)

That would be neat! I had been thinking of doing a similar thing but I was always too lazy.
