If you are reading this, the orange bar at the bottom 5% of my screen is hugely distracting. Please allow us to close it.

And with good reason. While singletons of those are indeed trivial and not protected, once collected into a huge database, that database earns protection.

It is! He ran out of time a bit I think, at least it felt quite rushed at times, but I was left very curious and motivated to try some SAT.

How much money do you realistically see this generating? With how much effort for marketing and polishing? I would be impressed if OP could calculate even 1 dollar per hour and come out with a profit. This is a niche of a niche of a niche.

'Camera' and 'photograph'. Did you really not expect something more like a traditional photo?

Deceiving clickbait for interesting technology. This is nothing like 'photography': > Developed in China, the lidar-based system can cut through city smog to resolve human-sized features at vast distances. > the new techniqu

It's fun, it's visual, it's a whole new dimension!

Slightly tongue in cheek to counter the anti-(Chinese/Russians) tone in recent times: Seeing how close Dell (both the company and the man) are to the US government, surely this is a backdoor by the Americans?

Reduce the precision, 15 decimal places are useful for picometers, not a web map. Try 5-6.

What would be that reason?

One could replace 'Huawei' with 'Cisco' in this article and everyone would just nod and sigh. The political spin on it is concerning.
169.
by gloflo 7y ago
Absolutely, I find the increase of our politics and media attacking 'The Russians' and 'The Chinese' in recent years very concerning. Especially with the lack of reflection on our own actions both nationally and intern

No, when reading the whole article, there are much more varied interpretations. Bloomberg added the 'political' backdoor spin.

What is your privacy policy? Do you store any information about the users?

Wow, that escalated quickly. Please tone it down a little. You described a different scenario. My comment was not related to installing such hidden software yourself on your own device, not meant to be used by anyone else.

by gloflo 7y ago
That would be illegal in many countries on Earth, probably the whole EU, and disgustingly unethical in any case. If you are allowed to track a device and the user is aware of that, then there is no reason to hide it. In any other case, fuck
