You are allowed to do anything. Microsoft tried to collect royalties and OEMs let them. You could try too. Good luck!

I'm very interested in how Mesos can serve up http in a Highly Available way to all these services that run internally in the cluster. Has that problem been solved and will that be on topic at the meetup?

Languages like scheme and lisp do not have real syntax, but are more like abstract syntax tree markup languages. That is both the appeal and the dissuasion. Attempts have been made to create syntax for these languages, but it never catches

Sorry, fuck-up is an acceptable professional term now. A fuck-up is an error that is so bad that from CEO to customer, there is no sense in calling it anything other than what it is. Send 10 emails at once to a customer? Sorry, we fucked up

Just a reminder that some languages and implementations never make it to their next big version. Perl 6 never broke. hhvm has not made everyone forget about PHP 5. Sometimes a language peaks when you are still in the mediocre (or horrible)

And how do you feel about static analysis which is the topic of the OP?

by glibgil 12y ago
Let's down-vote these types of comments that answer, vaguely, the question proposed in the headline and reveal that they did not even skim the topics in the OP. Totally worthless.

In this case it is bugs that can be discovered and fixed through static analysis. What about this case?

by glibgil 12y ago
Your comment provides no value. The OP has specific examples of tools being used to find bugs in software all without the need for testing. Testing is the least efficient way to fix those bugs. Tooling, as demonstrated in the OP, and other
