Web Bluetooth and Web USB, along with other useless things like Web Battery that Google loves don't make the web more powerful. It only serves to make the web more bloated and user hostile. And making new browsers that much harder to i

Don't roll your own crypto if you are releasing a product or if you are working on critical software. DO roll your own crypto [1] for learning, messing around if you enjoy recreational programming. It's an awesome topic to play wi

Unless you have a large sum of your life savings invested in hype-driven cryptos, why would you get emotional from the headlines? The only emotion I feel when I see cryptos going high or low is "wow, neat" or "hmm, too bad&qu

Emacs will probably be better in the long run for Lisp, but you can use any editor to begin. For Common Lisp, SBCL [1] is probably the best free option. If you want to learn Scheme instead, Chicken Scheme [2] and Racket [3] are popular and

Sway works with any GPU that implements the proper API on Linux. Nvidia has a bad case of NIH syndrome and does their own thing independent from other GPU manufacturers. So it would be more accurate to say Nvidia does not do sway.

If the submission was for Sway, it would be equally sad that it was bound to Wayland. I think projects like this should link each other as alternatives though, to aid in discovery. Since they are for different protocols, I don't think

You can also put a DuckDuckGo search box, works well for website search and supports DDG instead of Alphabet. EDIT: Shameless plug if it gets the author to go with a non-google option https://www.gkbrk.com/wiki/DuckDuck

LinkedIn's sales pitch is basically a connected professional network of people that interact with each other, topics. and companies a lot. Their second strong point is the fact that they have valuable data hidden in their social graph.
