A post describing the security breach in more detail has been published on the Atlassian blog: http://blogs.atlassian.com/news/2010/04/oh_man_what_a_day_an... Looks like they were storing the passwords of older accounts in clear-text (see

Am I the only one who thought "What the hell is 'Functional Programming Arithmetic' " after reading this headline? :) I once had a more detailled look at floating-point numbers, and yes, it's quite a big topic. I like the site, because it's

If you want to dig deeper into F#, have a look at The F# Survival Guide , which is a free online guide that was posted here on HN some time ago: http://www.ctocorner.com/fsharp/book/default.aspx Edit: Here's the link to the original post

It's good that you point it out. Surely it's not a backup, but at least it's a better option than working only with a single harddisk. If you feel comfortable with distributing data in the cloud, cloud storage services like Dropbox are a

Very nice one, Google. I especially found the Remark Annotations funny. Would be cool to have a .NET port of GAG. I surely would use it somewhere in the depths of code, just for fun :)

Nice article, and an interesting combination of technologies! Maybe it's a little bit off topic, but I had a look at http://streethoarding.com/ to see the thing in action. I like the idea and execution (it runs pretty fast; very very simp

That's actually true. A fresh install of Visual Studio (VS) is already quite heavy, but when you install an add-in like ReSharper (hands down, it's still one of the best add-ins for VS) on top of it everything gets more heavy and slower. Ye
