Ahh, my mistake, I misread your initial comment to be about IDE's. I would encourage you to try Gnome again. I use it everyday on a 7 year old laptop with Ubuntu, and it is impressively stable and smooth and a pleasure to multi-task wi

You can release it under creative commons. But I'm not sure how you go about officially doing that, so platforms can confirm that it's actually creative-commons.

Very sensible conclusion. I like open-source products, but they're not sustainable business models and require huge community effort. If you're a solo maintainer trying to make money, then a pure SaaS business is probably a better

Depression is unfortunately a part of modern society now, and I think a growing reliance on technology is one of the main factors. Technology seeks to make individuals happy, but in doing so they're consumed by screens and feeds and be

Great idea and I love the effort put into it. The method of install is very dodgy for linux though [1] curl -sSL http://get.wasp-lang.dev | sh It seems to require nodejs, so why is this not an npm package? Also the logo

Totally agree, Graphql pushes the problem to the backend, where arguably, it's easier to mitigate after bottlenecks are discovered. Seems like it postpones premature optimisation... which is a good thing in my opinion

Well I think it was just a bit of advice really, not a threat. If you can't see the positive benefits of a new type technology, then you might be passed up for someone else more open-minded. But yes, I agree that you should be critical

I agree, fiverr and upwork at least compensate the people doing the work . If the marketplace is getting a cut of the money, why shouldn't the people completing the projects get some money?.... Seems very backwards

Another interesting point is that although Rube Goldberg machines are complicated, they are extremely decoupled from start to finish... I've never thought of decoupling code in a negative way before...
