I mean I can point to a half dozen that I know personally but they’re not famous shrug . This seems like a weird argument to make to me, and besides the overall point the author was attempting to make anyway

Information is information. Why is some information considered different than others in your estimation?

I am so excited for my Round 2. The original Pebble Time Round (20mm w/ brown leather strap) is the single best smartwatch I've ever owned. Can't wait to relive it today haha

I would honestly be sad if it stopped at this point! Definitely part of the fun IMO

If that was completely the whole story, then the extra Zero Retention etc tier enterprise things wouldn’t exist I also don’t trust them lol

I’m kind of sad it’s not named after it now, that would’ve been very amusing

There are a wild amount of countries where it’s not treated like the opioid that it is, for what it’s worth. Mostly not western ones, though.

The B70 is woeful with respect to software performance today, unfortunately, and your stuck using Intels forks of things and it still doesn’t get the full expected throughput. Such a shame to be honest.

They should be included! But there's a difference between machine translation and technical-writing-using-an-LLM, in my opinion. One has a lot more humanness to it, still.

For what it’s worth, I was talking in response to the original commenter who was talking in past tense, I was merely responding in kind :) I would argue that SO is basically “done”, though. For better or worse. I still write code by hand. I

It means I don’t trust the substance. Whenever I try to use for technical writing like this, I catch it getting things wrong constantly.

> I’m not saying to write all the code. I’m saying it’s useful to write 5% of it. Then let an Agent stamp out / rewrite the rest 100% agreed. And it leads to far better LLM output and lower token usage, too, I find.

Anything that is interesting. It’s not all just tech here.

> and no different than copy and paste from stack overflow This isn't really the point of your comment, and for that I apologise, but: not all of us did that. For many good reasons, too.

It was always far too buggy for my liking as-is, though it’s amusing that somehow that’s become worse over time it seems

It's funny you're being grumped at about it, but yeah "load-bearing" outside of civil eng is my "nails on a chalkboard" slop signal. Well, one of many.

/r/CombatFootage will show that even with strong explosive payloads the modern quads used by Ukraine are surprisingly mobile. They’re incredibly quick and manoeuvrable still, much to my surprise. I do not actually suggest watching

When One Nation here in Aus is yapping about “high trust societies” and talking about Japan etc. to me it is absolutely a racist dog whistle.

Having heavily evaluated both antirez’s ds4 flash and Qwen 3.6 27B at FP8 and Q8: it depends. The quantised Flash is better in a number of tasks despite running much slower on my DGX Spark-alike. 27B is amazing for its size but has some sur

The thing is the data isn’t limited, and supply side constraints already solve this problem. I come from a BSc Chemistry background, and they don’t hide how organic chemistry and illegal drug synthesis are intertwined, it’s open information

I use benchmarks… …that are my own private internal suite on my own code bases where I can judge the output properly I also measure wall clock time to completion which has been a surprising separator in practice.

Glad someone else is saying it. It has that exact LLM cadence to it, horrible. The worst thing is, I'm pretty sure humans are starting to mimic that cadence too...
