Not Face ID, but my wife’s sister could unlock my wife’s android phone with Touch ID. That should be pretty rare I guess.

Been a very happy user of Linode for years. Didn't get lucky to have many users, but it worked perfectly for intensive backend jobs, never noticed any slowdown as opposed to DO.

Very interesting, I'm thinking of building a portfolio of Indian stocks with exactly something like this. What's the purpose of multiple Coffee cans?

Interesting, I've been using KeePassX(C) for over a decade too. I store the .kbdx file in a Dropbox folder and can access it from other devices. Never ran into issues with this setup.

Kind of sideways, but I’m tired of CGI these days, no matter how real it feels, you “somehow” know it’s not real. That’s why I like Mad Max Fury Road better than Dr. Strange.

This reminded me of the very first _big program_ I wrote in C. My cousin showed me steps to solve a magic square [0] and asked me to write the program. I did not have a computer at the time. So I wrote actual program on paper, ran it, debu

My team is working on a very large Elm codebase for over 3 years now, we got a runtime error in production only once (stack overflow when parsing an unusually large file, made it tail call optimized to get rid of it). I will consider it s

After years of Elm, the moment I see curly braces in a language I immediately lose the interest. Curlys, semicolons are not relevant these days.

Crypto experts are predicting insane valuations for BTC, at the same time USD value will drop (rather people will lose confidence in USD). What I fear is, will Uncle Sam just let the USD go down the drain and watch doing nothing?
