Not so easy when you have a family. To be clear, I don’t have a problem paying taxes in Germany. The problem for me is primarily how hard it is to set up a company and deal with bureaucracy here. And even though there are great alternatives

This feels very wrong, especially for such a service. I would personally trust https://yourdigitalrights.org/ much more. Plus it’s global. Disclosure: I donated a little and later met the founder of the nonprofit.

This looks very sleek. I love it. I had a similar itch to scratch, but created something far less ergonomic[0] a while back. Princing info would be useful though, even if it’s free in Beta. Great job! [0] cronyo: The missing cron CLI for AW

What actual harm would come to you from someone watching you in your bedroom? What harm would come to people simply registered as Jewish in Germany prior to WW2?

The best solution I found was to delay the deletion and make it reversible (within a few days). Mark the account as to-be-deleted and prevent any action. The only page/screen available should show: this account is scheduled for permane

Yeah it’e a joke. Enforcement even in more privacy-friendly countries is slow and feels largely ineffective. I wish they would make it possible to go to small claims court and win, say, up to a 500€ per case. That might be the death by a th

I found this BBC podcast[0] quite insightful about optimism vs pessimism. One interesting thing is that there are far more optimists than pessimists in the population. If I recall it’s a 9:1 ratio. [0] https://www.bbc.co.uk/
