I think there's room for commercially successful games that lack apparent depth. I think the success of match 3 mobile games is an indication that the market is out there. But it's possible that it no longer overlaps with the mark

Family members don’t call out narcissists as a polite way of moving past it. They don’t want to fight every 5 minutes. I’m sorry that gave you the wrong impression.

On raw Metal performance, yes it does get the same performance. The benchmarks showed this. The problem was the implication that you'd get 3070 gaming performance. That was never going to be true because of the un-optimisation tax fo

I think you're confusing the Apple TV app (which shows content from any participating video app on the App Store) and the Apple TV+ service (it's a separate tab within the app), which is Apple's own subscription content.

I'm amazed people are so reluctant to pick up a subscription for 1 month to watch a show. $15 to watch a season of a show. It's not a life decision, it's a whim.

Please don't attack services in general. There's nothing wrong with selling your OWN services. Apple TV+ and Apple Arcade are examples of good services where Apple are commissioning and paying content producers. The services are

The article attacks measurement based approaches, in general, which I don't think is supported by the anecdote of McNamara's failings in Vietnam. Kill count was simply a terrible metric of victory. Vietnam was a civil war, which r

I think your edit points out the reality: what we call "bitter" covers a wide range of different tastes and we have at least 25 different receptors that are considered "bitter". https://en.wikipedia.org/w

Even in 2012, you could have taken a sliver of mainstream media like "vampire fantasy novels" and failed to read everything in a single year. I think the author simply had a narrower view of what was "important". Yes, me

If 10% of developers are female, there's a potential for 20% of all developers to be in male-female marriages. The data shown here had just 12% which could represent 60% of female software developers marrying male software developers (

What you're describing isn't messed up indentation but messed up column alignment (trying to align content on multiple lines). Indent only using tabs, based only on scoped, and there's no possibility of problems. It's su

It seems highly likely (given that this is a dictionary and requires fast lookups) that you're reverse engineering something like CEVFS (i.e. a virtual file system for compressing a database). Which is why the dictionary is broken into

Basilisk is written in C++ (a portable language) and it’s a cross platform project. This JS boxing is mostly for this type of “hey look, it runs on the web” demo. Slower, but clickbait.

You're writing like Jobs kept Woz out of the spotlight. 1. Woz didn't obviously try to be a leader. He got very rich at Apple then went back to college in 1981 and eventually left Apple to work in education and small ventures. 2.
