Binding event handlers in a loop is an anti-pattern greatly promoted by jQuery during several years. You should use event delegation.

Do you know that your site works OK on IE9 when changing the UA? Ironically, your site page does not include a doctype so it is interpreted in quirksmode [1]... [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quirks_mode

Apparently, they don't really know what they're doing... function cj() { try { return new a.ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP") } catch (b) { } } I guess this JS code is not for IE support...

We had browser sniffing, now we have jQuery sniffing :( function scrollToBottom() { jQuery.fn.jquery > "1.6" ? inner.prop({scrollTop: inner.prop("scrollHeight")}) : inner.attr({scrollTop: inner.attr("

For the first problem, you could test the generated selector to verify it matches only one element. If not you can use, for example, the nth-child pseudo-class to select the right element. For the second one, specs say that the "id" value m

If you set the same value for "class" attribute on DIV elements in the example, the generated selector (i.e. "signature") won't be unique. BTW, if the selected element has an "id" attribute (with -by definition- a unique value), what is the

Thanks for the report. The zip file seems to be valid: I can open it without any issues with 7zip (on Win7). The "read zip demo" [1] is also able to open it and extract the compressed PDF. What zip software do you use? [1] http://gildas-lo

Since it heavily relies on new HTML5 APIs, I think the simplest solution is to wait for IE10 ;).

Before writing zip.js, I tried this library. It was really great but id does not scale at all: it means the created zip file is not "streamed" so it can use a lot of RAM when creating large files.

My need is to extract data (archived web pages) from a WebSQL database (or HTML5 filesytem). So the user can export it to a file. Otherwise, he couldn't export the extension data. All is done on client-side so I cannot use HTTP post.

I am the author of the library. Just to be clear about my motivations, I wrote this library for chrome extensions. It's a simple way to export/import large user data.

Moreover, JSON.parse will be able to parse the JSON text containing the "U+2028" character without any issue.

Right, you don't need "U+2028" character to reproduce the error. Why ? Because the parser handles {} as a block code, not as an object declaration. Actually, the "good example" should be : var obj = {"JSON":"ro cks!"}
