it also sounds like a lot to manage, do you have some sort of agentic framework that's treating all of these llm's you have access to as sort of inputs that it optimizes?

I do have fond memories of my TI-82 (we couldn't afford the fancier 84 or 89). I wonder, though, after all these years did Texas Instruments corner the market and obtain an monopoly on allowed calculators for proctored tests or ... bec

How do the grok models fare in coding challenges to say gpt 5.5 and opus 4.6/4.7? I hate giving Elon any money. The man is a net negative to society but … if the models are objectively better then logically I must no?

I never know why this keeps getting downvoted, is HN really full of investors and not engineers? why do you want buy backs and not R&D?

I wish they’d stop doing buy backs and invest 100B in R&D … imagine what they could do in battery tech or otherwise.

Are they sure? Portland is a special kind of crazy. I can say this cuz I’m a native now living in Berlin. locals are going to trash the cars and do all sorts of damage.

lol "principles" like Sam Altman has any ... All the major AI shops are out trying to be the king of the jungle -- I don't think there can be a market in the end for all of them to be worth 2T+ giants.

Interesting. I would love your test but for code. If I were to forgo my claude subscription for a Chinese cloud hosted model or local models running on my own hardware I'd use them mostly for code. the thing is I've tried to come

Interesting that 4.7 failed like that. Seems 5.5 is impressive but is oh so expensive. Would be interesting if you ran your same test with Deepseek v4 and some of the other Chinese models.
