I’ve become disillusioned with Anthropic and their models. Sonnet 5 was fantastic. It’s slow and dumber now. Of course this is anecdotal but it’s true. I had one to fable to get anything decent and then my employer is paying Fable costs. Yi

The model could be a legit, real life Jarvis sentient super brain genius and I would rather stay ignorant than give Elon any of my money. I’m hoping all his enterprises burn to the ground. I’m glad there’s plenty of competition from China a

Welp gonna give Deepseek more money. This is very cheap indeed. And I’ve been using them and kimi for a bit now not via open router but on my own and have found them on part with sonnet 5 though sonnet 5 these days I think has gotten worse.

All this work to get the Mac to be a platform useful for AI is being done despite Apple's efforts. They're famously pissed at Nvidia since the Nvidia + Intel Macs due to heat and other issues. But then the OS is a bit closed off a

Yeah ... for all our accomplishments there's still a decent amount of people globally (though it's falling) living without basics (food, clean water, safe living conditions), and we still fight over fossil fuels despite having cle

One could argue using WSL is an anti-pattern: use a real OS. I kid, I kid. Yeah I’m an avid user of the editor. I don’t care for their AI stuff I bring my own but I just want to see the editor become awesome. A more detailed object plugin e

I don’t know who wins. I know we do though. In discovery we are gonna get such great juicy details. I am in the camp that Sam Altman and company can’t be trusted. But who knows? Let’s see the case unfold.
