I really wish crimes not causing direct 'physical' harm were weighted appropriately. Execs and doctors driving the bulk of opioid deaths should absolutely be held accountable, especially for continuing after the outcome of their

I've done this on quite a few occasions as well. It isn't necessarily time wasted, as you evoke a positive view from the client (progress towards the solution) and often get valuable feedback. The alternative is that they think yo

1.5B MAU is not unreasonable. A majority of Chinese users are using it. It is superfluous when you ride the subway or eat in a restaurant. Everyone. That alone could be .75-1+B. Then you only need a relatively small percentage of the rest o

Yes, exactly. Quite a few possibilities are being tested, as in they exist (maybe). It is quite literally being blocked by regulatory approval, with the testing for validity and safety being the approval process.

There is a reason no new manufacturers have succeeded in the past 100 years. Auto industry is tough and costly. Autopilot almost certainly gave them press and coverage that has helped sell cars and keep the company from collapsing. If a fut

When it gets there, regulatory approval will absolutely be a bottleneck to deployment. They don't say it is a current blocker. And it won't come close to Theranos. Tesla makes real products that are class-leading. Even if Tesla ca

For anyone in tech visiting Seattle, this was always my first recommendation. The hardest part about history is that human minds are unwilling to grasp the 'realness' of it. Being able to directly touch and play with the past real

There is a likelihood that many parents submit/falsify the financial aid application/documents. Hard to prove the student did it, and worse to rescind based on a parent's actions.

Video sizes are not shrinking. 8K is coming, with even bigger sizes on the way. That matters at scale. As long as someone sees the benefit, people will keep pursuing it. Compression (as like all tech) is a moving target with the platforms r

Nope, way less than that. A single expendable rocket may have that margin, although I'd expect even better. Accounting for 5 flight of a si glen booster and capsule, that cost drops precipitously to at least 60-70% percent savings.
