That's one of the best blog posts I've read in a while. It nails the idea of "write one line that makes the reader want to read the next". It's humorous but also serious. There's no fluff. Instant subscribe.

What's faster? Writing a 500 word report "from scratch" by researching the topic yourself, vs. having AI write it then having to fact check every answer and correct each piece manually? This is why I don't use AI for any

Seems like car insurance should cover this. Also, the article does a pretty good job of explaining why Apple should deny coverage, but then still says "declining cover seems surprising". Does it?

This is why any sale of Tiktok without the algorithm will fail. The Chinese will just stand up another app with the TT algo and just incentivize a ton of creators with big paycheques. The eyeballs will follow, TT will die and we'll mov

Not really, that's like saying "they relied on closing the doors to the aircraft to achieve supersonic flight". Both happened, but aren't related if I'm reading the comments correctly.

Grab any teenager from the street and ask to see their screen time usage on the phone. I bet when you subtract sleeping and school hours (assuming their school has banned phones in classrooms) it will still be nearly double digit hours.

I feel like there should be a different word for those that "home school" their child by hiring a private teacher and they learn in the house. For me, homeschooling means one of the parents (often the mother) teaches the child(ren

N of 1 stories don't really work as I could easily find a ton of terrible stories of why the private system in the states is bad for people. The Canadian system (or any public system) gets a bad rap for wait times, but it's not li
