They do cover this in their FAQ. If you are used to it, landing unexpectedly is quite undramatic. This can happen if you foil at the lowest speed limit, or if you attempt to cross a wake or seastate that is beyond the capabilities of the bo

I just bought a bluetooth headset from Amazon, brand is Mpow which sells a ton of electronics. In the box there is a card that says "You've been chosen as a lucky customer to get an Amazon Gift Card". It instructs me to wri

There was a post on HN awhile back that was a blog post by a lady that was involved. She got into it thinking it would be good to make some money but she ended up with so much crap that she couldn't give it away (or sell it). EDIT Her

>I have greater faith in the uber-nerd vs the perfect production manager. I have greater faith in the company with over $200 billion cash on hand, that can throw a ton of money at a long drawn out court battle.

But where is the line of lots of options vs not a lot of options? iOS isn't even the most popular mobile operating system.

They were also charged with money laundering. I suspect if they had set up a legitimate business and signed contracts with customers for "free pickup" and paid taxes on profits etc, they wouldn't be in jail.

I believe it was Genius that was using rare unicode characters in the lyrics that don't really show up when viewing the page. They were able to see that Google had those same characters in their lyric results and therefore Google was

In my opinion, Trump is doing this so that on September 16th (or whatever the date is now) he can proclaim how good of a business man he is, how he is such a deal maker and can bring companies to the USA. He won on that moniker the first t

>Everyday mass use VTOL is not. Sorry, the Jetsons lied to you. Many companies are working on this problem currently. I would say consumer accessible, piloted electric VTOL is closer than fully self driving vehicles.

I can't remember who said it or on which podcast, but they basically said that VTOL is the real game changer, not autonomous driving. Sure autonomous driving might be able to shave some time off of your commute, but you are still in a

Governments have to close this loophole. A CEO is going to be quickly ousted if they suggest not taking advantage of the well known tactic. For one it means less money in the pockets of shareholders but also reduces the ability to compete

It's unlikely that celebrities and politicians allow DMs from any account. I think that setting is off by default.

Exactly. It's a really optimistic (and in my opinion terrible) view to think that the people that ran the company into bankruptcy can steer it out if only they got paid a bit more money.

If the hackers had access to the DMs, stuff of value could have been lost.

In the article it says only customers from 35 states could fill out the survey since Tesla blocks customers in 15 states. So the data on Tesla isn't representative of the 50 states.

Motherboard is reporting some screenshots that apparently show some Twitter admin panel that allowed these hackers to take control. Assuming this panel has that kind of power, they potentially could see all DMs as well. However, why expos

No. If the delivery service knows that they need to send 4 orders to a single neighbourhood, instead of sending a driver back and forth 4 times, they instead can have the restaurant prep the 4 meals at the same time and send the driver to
