I specifically remember reading a book when I was in elementary school called "A Cache of Jewels" that was all about these various nouns. https://www.amazon.ca/Cache-Jewels-Other-Collective-Nouns/dp... EDIT -

I agree - The author hits at topics that are somewhat controversial but at the same time everyone has a story. I suspect, and I could be wrong, but majority of the comments on that DUI post are people over the age of 40 or 50. They all want

Automakers resisted putting backup cameras in cars and they provide the driver utility. A panel under the car adds no immediate utility to the buyer and therefore the extra $200 or whatever it would cost would detract buyers.

>There is a cohort of folks who have recovered from covid, seen the published evidence around natural immunity, and consider getting the vaccine to be an unknown risk with a known small benefit. I guess this depends on your jurisdiction.

Normally I would think that perhaps the behaviours of the vaccinated group differ from the unvaccinated and therefore affecting their risk profiles (ex. vax going out more, seeing other people), however, I don't think that is the case.

It would be more important to look at the counties hospitalization rate and death rate. We know the vaccine doesn't stop breakthrough infections, but it does reduce morbidity and mortality.

I assume your comment is tongue in cheek since this practice happens in both industries. Perhaps you can help me though, I've been trying to remember the term used for this for weeks. I seem to recall it being called something like &qu

My wife and I used a similar app for our second and third baby. It was helpful and we only matched on one name for our second kid, and that is indeed her name.

Not really random given most people interact with helium in the form of a balloon, however I would say that no one on Earth could comprehend 1.4 trillion balloons.

So could we not just operate them on water? Many large cities are on water and already have ugly ports. Just build nuclear reactors in ships, park in port and connect to grid. Have coast guard/navy secure them.

I suspect that building and operating a nuclear plant is more complex than coal, however this table indicates there are currently 2445 operating coal plants currently, and approx 500 in pre-construction or construction. So is it really that

I'm sure all egress doors would have crash bars. Think of any tall building, they typically only have one or two major entrances but then many one way egress doors. This building wouldn't be any different.

Why not provide adequate living facilities and those that want to venture out and socialize will, and those that want to hang out in their room will do so. Seems odd to try and force them out of their room.

As point out elsewhere, 2 entrances doesn't mean 2 egress points. There are likely lots of one way doors out of the building.

At the bottom of the OP link is the price for a 4x8' sheet of bamboo plywood. It's listed for 295 euroos or $342USD. I'm not sure there is a 'regular' wood sheet that is even close to that cost. It's truly a sp

I also think at kindergarten age, you are actually just separating by age. A kid with an early birthday could have lived 11 months longer than a kid with a late birthday, and when you are only 4 or 5, that's a good chunk of your life.
