IP bans are fundementally flawed since you can't assume a static IP in the vast majority of cases anymore, if you rely on an IP blocklist then it's inevitable that you will end up hurting the experience of small amount of unlucky

Yes the latency is not nearly as bad as you might think, it's comparable to a VPN in my experience, though the quality will depend on your location and the available connections. Sophisticated cheats in games like CSGO (and other compe

This still leaves you wide open to cheaters using mobile data tethering and proxies. Have you considered more advanced network analysis? It's one of the areas I have an interest in (professionally and personally) so if you want any sug

A list and tuple are not the same thing. There could be reasons to require a list explicitly but I couldn't really think of any obvious ones which is why I asked.

Why would you do this over `return key, value` which produces a tuple? Just curious.

That's good to know, will try it out. I haven't had many cases of "broken" html in projects where I use lxml but when they do happen it can definitely be a pain.

What kind of proxies are on your road map, do you have any experience with in-house proxy networks?

IO between humans and websites can be broken down to only a few fundamental pieces (or elements I should say). This is actually where AI has a lot of opportunity to add value as it has the capability of significantly reducing the possibilty

In python specifically I like lxml (pretty sure that's what BS uses under the hood?), parse5 if you're using node is usually my go to. Ideally though you shouldn't really have to parse anything (or not much at all) when doing

Cool service but how will you deal / how do you plan to deal with anti scraping and anti bot services like Akamai, Arkose, Cloudflare, DataDome etc.? Automation of the web isn't solved by another playwright or puppeteer abstractio

Does this actually occur with real or high-value targets? I'm genuinely curious, as I can only envision this happening with smaller side projects. However, I'd be interested to hear any stories of encountering this in the wild. It

Very interesting read. Is there a way to sandbox apps and send user input to them in parallel? I'm using docker to containerize apps to set up end 2 end tests but it would be nice if this was possible without containerizing.

Great question, also situations where you have multiple CTAs with similar names/contexts on a page is still something I see LLM based automation struggle with.

Just want to say I love how simple yet effective this explanation is. Can I ask what age range your kids are in and do they understand this perspective enough that they are aware of it and take steps to avoid it?

That's why we would want it to run locally! Think about a fully personalized model that can work out some simple tasks / code while you're going out for groceries, or potentially more complex tasks while you're sleeping.

I agree with this broadly speaking, I wasn't necessarily asking for a shortcut or way to undermine it, more just of a way of demonstrating this ability assuming you have it.
