People also use extremely offensive language (including racial slurs, but not limited to them) under drugs, alcohol etc. because the words are extreme and nothing else. Using a racial slur does not necessarily make one a racist.

What do you mean by reformat? Any decent code formatter keeps a consistent style. Getting conflics only happens if you missconfigure your editor or don't have checks to catch invalid formatting before merging to remote.

My current company just has a few HR type people that take care of purchases like that. I literally email them a link to hardware or software I need and they get it delivered to me. This is the best way I've seen it done. I don't

For adults, yeah. For children the system is great. In Finland the rejected names are published and there are many really horrible ones. A child is a person.
