I've been using simply a private git repository to sync my raw notes and it's worked flawlessly. I do this on multiple machines and even my android phone. Would you be open to try that approach out?

I'm not a big OS X user, and I'm unsure if sharing my own blog post is allowed, but combing skhd with yabai changed my entire workflow on osx. TLDR: use yabai to manage windows and skhd to bind key bindings to yabai commands. ht
