It’s very difficult to assign credit or blame to outcomes in a large organization. It's like trying to see which weight in a large neural net caused a specific outcome. That said, IMO what Elon Musk did to Twitter can be done to Google

do you implement the sort function and the hash map from scratch every time you need them? If not, what's so hard about implementing a sorting algorithm?

I'm excited for more usability coming to C++. It's still far from the writability of Python. At the same time the Mojo language is going the other way: creating a system language out of Python.

Apple gets away with some anti-competitive practices that is mind boggling. On iOS, their own app (Apple Maps) can draw a large custom notification for their turn by turn navigation but no other apps is allowed to do the same.

What a great idea! The next step is to give each outlet a sensationalism score and then normalize their headlines according to how they usually sensationalize.

hind sight is 20/20. I'm not saying tech CEOs are psychopaths or anything. IMHO they are just incompetent and not worth the salary they receive which is often 500X the average employee. In fact they remind me of financial advisors

The promo system I have seen in a FAANG company consistently selected for those who were 1.5X the average employee in terms of competency and 10X the average in terms of greed and shameless-ness. Put this next to the fact that high level ex

The patent was granted in 2019. The patented architecture is the Transformer architecture that everyone and their mom is now using for LLMs. Patents in your portfolio help defend against trolls and other hostile entities.
