If you make $12 an hour, you are not in NY state were the minimum wage is $15. This is not to underrate your personal experiences, just that situations can be different in different places. Guns in NYC are fairly rare, but your comment hold

Thrussh -- they remake ssh, but they never say why. They only say that it is difficult because of all the interoperability issues they keep discovering. Ssh has such a large surface, I don't see why they would do this. I also hope they

The main different on pagination, is that you pages return inside an object. And you have have several different objects that all have different pages. With rest, you can only paginate that particular call. You cannot really paginate differ

100% this! Outside of JS, the tooling seems non existent. What's so amazing to me is that it is really easy to spin up a server that talks graphql in any language. But there is no client support. And hand crafting queries is a million

They also said that less than 50% of the code was shared, which means there is still a lot of platform specific code. > Almost 50% of the production code in our Android and iOS apps is decoupled from the underlying platform.

Do you mean a VPN? But be warned, your home internet, VPS, and/or VPN are all most likly all strongly tied to you. That is because you paid for them. A VPS where you are the only user is a 1:1 mapping to you.

Cannot figure out why you are being down voted. YarnV1 and NPM are horrible if you have a large dependency tree. YarnV2 was the first time I enjoyed the package manager.

Say what you will about IPFS and ProtocolLabs, but I really admire that they made IPFS completely blockchain agnostic. There is no requirement to buy or receive coins to use IPFS. And multiple different implementations of persistent stores

Unless you're using certificates, your rsa keys don't specify any hashing algo at all. The negotiating between the client and server decide the signature algo.

While I agree this stuff is complex, the patch notes are the only real problem here. Almost all the corrections are around the '"ssh-rsa" public key signature algorithm' deprecation. The string "ssh-rsa" is use

Your client ssh-rsa keys do not specify a hashing algo at all unless they are signed certificates. The vast majority of client ssh-rsa keys are completely unaffected since they are bare rsa keys with no hashing done at all.

This is not true, for client keys ssh-rsa is just fine. If you're using certificates then you may need to get those resigned. But most people aren't using certificates, just bare rsa keys. And ssh-rsa client keys don't specif

I think your hardest challenge is going to be why should a project use your centralized "foss" matrix instance vs the matrix.org one. Similarly, the fact that matrix is federated, why would they use yours vs hosting their own? Fre

DMARC is only policy, it is not SPF or DKIM. You can have any combination of DMARC, DKIM, and SPF. They are all distinct. Though with DKIM there is no way for a receiver to know if a message should be signed unless there is also a DMARC pol
