Their About Us page makes no mention whatsoever of technology. There is no CTO, no VP Engineering, etc. Quite odd. If they were relabeling something else, that could explain it.

About 1/3 of my estate is in the stock market. I sold 1/2 of that 1/3. I'm prepared to sell the rest. I may sell the remaining 1/2 in the coming days. Cash is more prudent in an emergency, and I'm prepared for

You mean, why that much, or why not all of it? I was tempted to sell all of it, but decided to wait a while. I sold because I think the risk of further, large declines is greater than the likelihood of a continuing increase. (In 2008, as th

I don't know what country you are from, but mine (USA) has lost its ability to set its mind to anything . It can't even be said to have a rational mind any longer.

I think infrastructure, in general, is at some risk. The people who maintain infrastructure are going to be as motivated to stay home as everyone else.

I am assuming that in the next few weeks I will need to be isolated for 3-4 weeks. I am assuming that electricity is mostly on, and water to my home is mostly available, (although possibly tainted -- preparing for that). After that, who kno

The problem, of course, is that the chief software engineer doesn't appear to be have any understanding of what is causing the leaks, and whether the safety margin is adequate. Maybe there is some obscure and untested code path in whic

The New Yorker had a really interesting article about arson forensics, a few years ago. It interleaved the case of someone being executed for arson, with a thorough debunking of the science behind his conviction. And then fiber analysis has

"Ordered dict" is ambiguous, and from the title I thought that key order was meant. Reading the article, I see that it's actually insertion order. Which makes much more sense. Key order would have been a much more significant

Guys. Using a cliched phrase like "top dollar" indicates irony. Repeating it, and especially repeating it in all caps does more than indicate irony, it is screaming irony right next to your ear.
