What's going on here? 23andme are not allowed to report on the full data but Enlis is? Or is Enlis flying under the radar until they get squelched by the FDA?

Some people are making a lot of noise about making the distinction, like the guys teaching data science at John Hopkins. It's because both are important but they are distinctly different activities.

More to the point is how "replication" is defined. This quote covers it: "Note that the 36% figure comes from a definition of replication that mimics the definition used by regulatory agencies: results are considered replicat

I am not well informed about Japanese Buddhism. My knowledge of Buddhism comes from having been a monk myself, ordained in the Theravada tradition. I do know about these "priests" having wives. That means they are not monks since

What is a Buddhist "priest"? It certainly isn't a Buddhist monk. While Buddhism may be a big part of his life, using some made up title like that seems like just an attempt to make him seem somehow larger.

I am originally from the U.S. and when I came to Thailand I was initially taken aback by the sight of eggs being left out for days or weeks at a time. But they don't spoil. I later learned about the washing affect. Also, it's pred
