The notation I'm not sure of, but surely matrix based languages/extension like NumPy or R have kind of allowed similar modes of thinking about data/numerical programming? Using APL is kind of like a lightsaber. It's a mo

I played around a bit with J as a language and found it really lovely but unfortunately not really applicable to my problem domain (CRUD Enterprise Apps) I guess maybe some people are really in love with the symbolic notation of APL (vs J)

I've lived in many states in my life and none of them has had that so this is news to me. Still should be some kind of national program I think.

No discussion of Synthetic Natural Gas => LNG powered jetliners? To me that seems a lot more realistic than banning flight altogether or battery/electric powered aircraft.

Tcl to Java is a huge change. Totally different syntax / syntactic style. I can imagine the annoyance of the Tcl programmers having to deal with the inherant verbose-ness of java.

My first job was in Tcl. I grew to really like the language, though when I had to leave the company I was at a pretty strong disadvantage due to how uncommon it is. Everything is a string is a great way to reduce the mental load about typin
