I noticed that twitter.com also has no <title> tag, the title gets set once the JS loads. Kinda surprising to me that such a popular site like Twitter doesn't have such a basic HTML tag.

I think the problem isn't me turning my phone off, it's other people not turning their phone off.

A friend had his laptop and bag stolen from only a few feet behind him at a coffee shop. He had his back to the table he was using for only a minute or two as he placed an order from the counter. There were a few other people in the shop an

I don't quite understand what this project is. How does it work with Moonlight or is it a replacement for Moonlight? (The docs don't seem to explain why I'd want to use it.)

There are quite a few gems in the Tailscale blog. I've come back to their posts about NAT traversal ( https://tailscale.com/blog/how-nat-traversal-works/ ) and how Tailscale works ( https://tailscale.

The post from earlier today got me thinking about their blog post about the Steam Deck from last month. I was kinda surprised that someone hadn't already submitted it.

Apple wasn't always like that, just the current iteration of Apple. Back in the 80s and 90s Apple was more focused on longevity and building really great user interfaces than purity of design. Their Human Interface Guidelines were so

The quality and warranty are the primary reasons I bought a Speed Queen washer and dryer a few years ago. Most reviews say the washer isn't the best at actually cleaning clothes but 99% of the time I don't need to remove stains or

That's the one. It was full of those fun little notes. A nice balance of humor without going over the top. Helped me figure out how to use all of the features of the printer.

I think one of the first "quirky" computer books I can remember is a user manual for the Epson MX-80 dot matrix printer from the 1980s. It was written in a much more relaxed, personable style than almost any other computer books o

I always thought it'd be cool to get my whole genome sequenced and keep a copy in my wallet. I don't know why but having a copy of my source code in my pocket seems cool.

Looks like HTMX already has something like this, just client-side. https://htmx.org/attributes/hx-select/ That's probably safer in some ways than filtering server side.

I just tried to order the Wifi devboard and got a similar response (I live in the US). I ordered the actual Flipper Zero a few weeks ago but forgot to order the accessories. I hope I can still get them at some point.

I'd like to see more languages with built-in, language level support for unit tests. Pyret ( https://www.pyret.org/ ) does this but is considered a "learning language". I'm aware that to many people co-loc
