What a twist! There seems to be a lot of related prior art referenced by the patent. I thought patents were valid only for the country that issued them. How is this a worldwide patent? Trade agreements?

> When python, ruby, javascript are around, why will anyone want to use a strongly typed language for writing web applications? Because Go is multiples faster at runtime! After using Go I lost interest in learning Python, which seems on

I think some people's intellects are more suited to learning and mastering C, which is great for the development of major products. For general business applications development and websites I think C may be overkill compared to Go. In a te

In the respect of existing C programmers, maybe. Having myself never mastered C because of its complexity, in a few months part-time effort starting from getting a book on Go I built a sophisticated website. In the respect of non-C programm

It makes an important point actually. Using joyless Soylent to alleviate lack of good diet leads to a larger population joylessly depending on Soylent. The situation is worsened.

Then let the population double again. Make larger Soylent factories. Repeat until all joy in life is gone.

The owner of a stock photo can charge any price they want. Canipre is just as hypocritical when they ignore stock photo violations. They should have a receipt for every copied resource on their site, or proof that it's free.

No sympathy is deserved when they're aware of the situation and pointing fingers instead of correcting the problem to meet the same high standards they demand of others. At this point the authors of the materials infringed deserve some comp

I concur with this approach. My former languages do not have pointers either. It is refreshing to have them as an option, and they are not difficult to get used to.

In February I deployed a website written in Go. It's been running 24/7 since then, pulling from thousands of data sources every ten minutes, no problems, no memory leaks. The thing is so fast on my cheap server (4 ms turnaround) that the on

They haven't shown the gov't who's the boss since Watergate. They've been content to be subservient since then. Next, gov't will require them to use decryptable communications.

If my friends see I used a third-party tool to email them, they might be concerned that I'm signing them up for spam. I have to trust that the email sent won't misrepresent me in any way. Maybe address those concerns like you have with "no

I do SQL most days. Commas at the end of the line is more advantageous than not, in my book. I find this best: select Field1, Field2, AnotherField from Table1 So clean, so consistent! No all-uppercase that a

I used to follow a bunch of best practices like this, that I now often find to be of too little benefit. If the function is small, multiple return statements won't significantly affect readability and it's simpler to code.

The price of a Bitcoin can rise regardless of investment in it. For example if the US pulled a Cyprus-like move, Bitcoin could triple instantly.

I think what really happened is that the Eastern Texas court district used this case to show legitimacy. They'll still eagerly allow less ridiculous but still ridiculous lawsuits from NPE plaintiffs. I see Eastern Texas a bit like Somalia.

Let's be realistic. Beyond the initial consultation a good lawyer is incompatible with a student's budget. Sometimes life is grossly unfair and there's not much you can do about it. Throwaway may well end up owing the plaintiff. At least th
