Isn't that argument bad for erlang? That you need to pay an atrocious price for erlang know how.

Thanks for your suggestion, I will definitely look into erlang. I have tried to look into it but I have found it quite unapproachable. You have to be really motivated on your own to learn it. Everytime someone points a erlang, they bring up

Totally agree. All these interviewers ask all sorts of questions and then want to pay you only 120k.

Who doesn't? Maybe a better question is - who doesn't use emails?

Can someone help me understand what the new reforms are? I have seen a lot of countries offer "entrepreneur" visas. And all of them are highly unrealistic and out of touch with reality. Standard requirements are masters, sometimes

All you need is to find the right find of partner? Get someone in as a partner and give him lots of stocks. Make sure he knows is his technology and makes a promise to deliver (put it in the contract).

Transparent queuing has little to do with moc. It's to do with Qt's threading model and eventing.

I get all that. What I was trying to say is that services that provide REST api's are better and easier to use than those that provide DBus api's.

Can you tell me something which dbus solves but something over http cannot? By this I mean in practice and not what it can possibly do. I have used it KDE and network manager and the like. They are all better off with rest style APIs actual

Gmail has made the email ecosystem much worse than it was. Sadly it just marks your domain as spam eve if you do ptr, SPF, dkim, dmarc etc. Really sad

In this day, I would just use http and websockets instead of dbus even for local communication. It just makes sense

How does this work? How do you make multilevel subdomain wildcards work? Maybe they run their own DNS server in which case this seems atleast doable. edit: It's smack on the front page of xip.io :) "xip.io runs a custom DNS server

I think this is trying to say you are as strong as the weakest link? Maybe it's trying to say something about group think. I mean all these movie quotes are all cool sounding but are quite shallow.

Fantastic write up! I have long wondered why failed companies and products just don't throw their code into github. Like google reader which bit me big time.

Yeahz they all spend like 20 mins and come out crying without spending at least a week understanding it. Which software stack do you know that you instantly get in 20 mins. I for one cannot understand the sysvinit or upstart in 20 mins (ie)
