I really liked my time using Elementary OS. It had a good and consistent design scheme, and shipped with a good default tool set (I would be willing to put my parents on it). I’ve yet to have a “great” Linux App Store experience, but out of

Your totally on point. From an audio quality stand point, people will argue to the bone that it’s better because there is “infinite” resolution. In reality that doesn’t really matter because of the resolution things are pressed at, and sinc

In reality, cars are safer now then they have ever been. Allowing people to buy pickup trucks isn’t some dastardly move made out of excess and negligence. Anyone who needs a pickup truck has there own reasons, and as long as the vehicle has

He could have done the whole “in preparation screenshot” thing using the js api. Or maybe there is a way to call and receive the old maps.

We actually do nab people who break the law in countries we can’t extradite from. People identified working in APT (advanced persistent threat) groups get labeled and watched, then grabbed when they travel to a country where the USA or affi

One last question: Where do you order them from? The labeled kits I see are around $120 and I’m on a college student budget. Thanks for answering my questions.

I found some of them. They look super helpful. How do you breadboard things with them?

I’m color blind. The markings would make everything so much easier. Having to check with someone else to make sure I get my colors right is such a pain. I hope I can order some. Edit: If anyone can find labeled resistors for a reasonable p

Early 2019 I tried getting KDE installed onto OpenBSD and was greeted with v3.5. Does anyone know if these KDE packages are in the default FreeBSD repository’s?

I apologize, I misread what you said. In options (bottom left of the screen) there is a switch to disable touch completely (it also seems to remember it’s setting for that particular app).

You don’t have to disable any part of the screen. Just hit “start” and you are locked into the app. I just tested it and the only thing I could not do was change the volume.

It’s pressing a button three times to enable, three times to disable (with a passcode). I would say that’s better because it doesn’t take up more phone real-estate, and it can’t be disabled by a smart kiddo.

I’m defiantly going to drop down. Right now I have a personal domain, my parents domain and a few other. High schooler me didn’t realize what I was signing myself up for when I started using a personal domain.

So, the price caps on .com have been released too? Isn’t this the same as what happened to .org? When will we hear that .net is ballooning too? What a scam.

Since I use a password manager, its not really an issue unless I have to login on some random lab computer. At the place I work we use office 365. Their sso path is so much better. I never need to re-enter my username.

The reason why they do this is because of sso logins for other organizations. For example, to log into my college gmail account, I type my email, get redirected to the schools sso page (retype my username and password), then get redirected

I hope not. T-Mobile has a lot of good going for it in my opinion. The culture feels the opposite of what Comcast is (or any of the cable companies they could merge with).

What kills me about Apple TV apps is the inconsistency between apps. Ex, the video player works differently between every app. To see how much time I have left do I swipe? Press the main button? I never know, and end up moving the currently
