Underrated post. Fast generics in go in under 30 lines? Thank you. Feels like this approach could be leveraged to get default parameters / optional parameters in Golang too! The Go AST / token lib seems ridiculously flexible. Huge

Favorite general use fonts for ux design as of 2022 are: + Readex Pro + Be Vietnam Pro Favorite if you need many or all languages: + IBM Plex + Noto Sans (of Google Android fame) But yeah, IBM Plex is very well done. These are all available

These guys are from magic stack, they wrote the definitive async python postgres library, asyncpg. Very high quality library. Been keeping a close eye on Edge, had even considered it as a primary database, and probably will in the future!!

Laravel and Drupal 7+ frankly ruined PHP for me. PHP as a platform is KISS and elegant, and I still admire some of its features such as built in templating, filesystem based routing, etc. But whenever I look back at Laravel, I remember how

Python modules are basically a singleton class. It's somewhat unique among languages (JS has this too). Makes it so you can "unit test" modules without actually using a Python Class. I see the Python Class as a way to get a &

Easiest way to defend against brute force attack? How does one rate limit? The only thing putting me off using HTTP auth is this. Seems like you need NGINX configured to hold state and be the rate limiter.

Hate to say it but grid snap still seems to be broken: https://imgur.com/g5yMFvp.mp4 Why is the handle not straight with the grid?

Nice. A line-height adjustment was added to the text tool. Non destructive layer styles. Layer previews. Krita is honestly fairly competitive for design now since last time I've used it.

The workflow idea behind this is super innovative-- From your SVG program directly to the web. Of course some bugs to work out, but for a new idea, damn.

Over the last few years many contributions from Facebook have made it into PHP mainline 7 & 8, and we've seen respective performance gains. Unsure how extensively they continue to use their PHP to C++ compiler internally.
