Bear in mind he is an artist, and it's de rigueur to have some story or concept with what you make. I learned this the hard way when I used to do algorithmic art back in college, you can't just say what it is or how you made it.

Yeah, I think a lot of people miss that these jobs opened up when the population was growing much faster due to the baby boom, plus people are living longer. Things have changed since the 1950s-80s.

That's true, but.. those companies trend towards HR throwing unqualified candidates towards the interviewers, which effects culture by forcing "gotta prove you aren't an idiot or faker!" style interviewing, and hence the

While I like grid functionality, the syntax is really different from lot of other CSS, and it's confusing imho. It's like this corner where you can see they either developed it in isolation or felt they were "going to do it

Yeah my expat friend owns a midsized (for the US) SUV in Spain, and she finds it incredibly difficult to use in the city she lives in due to the narrow streets + sidewalk cafes.

I'm not blaming the victim, but would never trust my life to random restaurants and employees. There's just no way that strangers give a damn enough to risk it, even if you tell them to be careful.
