A tip for those who both use Claude Code and are worried about token use (which you should be if you're stuffing 400k tokens into context even if you're on 20x Max): 1. Build context for the work you're doing. Put lots of

Missing from the methodology: - was thinking on or off? (At least for Gemini) - was web search allowed? - was tool use allowed? It’s quite likely LLMs don’t “know” the fonts in the dataset, but they could figure many of them out.

This would be my concern. A fender bender hits the wheels on this thing and suddenly you're doing major surgery to repair it.

The vast majority of dirt roads are fine. I put hundreds of miles on my 1996 Honda Civic hatchback in the Cascades with no problems many years ago. If the road existed in the 1990s, it's quite likely accessible by a mid-size SUV. Simil

More than some thinking. They’ll probably need to think hardest or even ultrathink to keep the project moving forward.

Review after 1 hour in: Gemini CLI does not take new direction especially well. After planning, I asked it to execute and it just kept talking about the plan. Another time when I hit escape and asked it to stop and undo the last change, it

You may be able to do this with a user-based settings file, so you can have a base layer of settings across all projects. More on how to do that here: https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/claude-code/settings

This might explain how people who exercise for work do not seem to get the health benefits of people who exercise recreationally. It’s not the exercise, it’s that people who recreationally work out are in a different socioeconomic group. A

I think that at best the jury is still out on Rapamaycin. It has healthspan- and lifespan-increasing effects on most animals studied. Bryan Johnson quit using it, but he’s on 40 other things and there are bound to be drug interactions. That

It is! It exists in Claude as a true branch - you can see the old threads - and in ChatGPT as without the history. Edit a previous reply and hit “go” to see it in action.

My definition is that heavily using AI for autocomplete or to write well defined methods is using AI, but vibe coding is instructing AI agents to complete a task and squinting at the multi-file results (e.g. "Now plan out how we will s

This anecdote doesn’t match the data. It is definitely slowing demand. You can see it in the Q1 numbers and the discounts on vehicles. You can ask anyone who buys used EVs in Seattle. There is a glut of Tesla sellers and not many buyers. Li

Maybe I’m not getting this, but you can tab to autocomplete file paths. You can use English or —add if you want to tell Claude to reference them.

Right, the whole point of these tricks is to compound a continuously larger amount. If you liquidate, you pay taxes (even more in one year with tax loss harvesting) and begin compounding from a lower starting point going forward.

How do you expect to make enough money to have a venture-scale business? Wealthfront has struggled even with a 0.25% fee and Robinhood is successful because they have massive flow (not buy and hold), options, and other casino-like products.

Services like this can be very, very difficult to leave. Be aware that if you are doing direct tax indexing with tax loss harvesting, you are increasing your tax liability in the future. If you invest in direct indexing here, you have three
