For most companies ML is just part of the long term strategy, with covid priorities have shifted from long term R&D to short term survival, so I don't see anything out of the ordinary here

I don't get it, so if you use a hammer to wreck a car or whatever now hammers are bad? and we should ban hammers?
251.
by gdsdfe 6y ago

252.
by gdsdfe 6y ago

253.
by gdsdfe 6y ago
hmmm but one team is not representative of one company, I'm not sure why all this debate on such obvious thing
254.
by gdsdfe 6y ago

it shows that when you have a monopoly or a strong moat, you can basically say "fuck you" to your clients in a polite way of course, oh well

It would be crazy to see Apple entering the cloud market with ARM based servers

by gdsdfe 6y ago
as a side note : I hate this ferries thing, just write a good old comment. what's wrong with comments?

Interesting ... there's a big push towards this "no code, low code" solutions lately in the industry, I wonder if this is just to sell more cloud services?
267.
by gdsdfe 6y ago
wow kudos, I also find it generous that github takes no cut on this giving that they offer the service. Some people here are comparing with the pay at FAANG, you'll have to factor in the satisfaction of seeing your own ideas coming to

How is this trolling? Millions are affected across China and India, people are dying on a daily basis ... But yeah I get it they have no purchase power and they're not white not Christian so who gives a shit
269.
by gdsdfe 6y ago
> If China rises to heights of power that eclipse the US completely, only India may be strong enough to speak for liberal democracy right, both countries are systemically killing, displacing and putting muslims in imprisonment camps
