That's why your cpu runs on different paths to save power when not needed. Using a lower cpu is just lazy and cheap.

The scroll/codex analogy is cute but doesn't hold up. Sure hope the page based css goes to the limbo.

Agree. But we should then be saying "omg 1.5ghz full system in that form factor!" Not that such high spec system can run a sub average set of software intended for old 486 Btw, the pizza boxes were considered incredible small back in early

Why people get excited by a 1.5ghz and half gig ram running something? I've run web browsers alongside heavy cad applications on way lower hardware and not that long ago. ...think my most responsive desktop so far have been a 150mhz 129mb r

I feel the discussion may be either: Cheap enough or marketed enough. Because never the article talk about it. So either it's cost prohibitive, our they couldn't even find it's existence. But again... If it were life changing...

you mean, intel, the manufacturer of wifi drivers that only works with binary blobs? or the manufacturer of GPUs that work wonders with linux because they have no feature at all? i wouldn't count them so happily as linux supporters.

doesn't the company that claims to have invented it first have a product in the market?

But that blog post claim the opposite. "we got money, but there's no content site"

If it's life changing, pay the party that invented the thing, not the ones that copied it in a app. Now, if it's not remotely equally useful, sue them for something for screwing your life with false claims.

Would be more interested in senior/visually impaired solutions. Last time i checked 3yrl olds didn't have any problem playing games on any they could grasp. Yet, a cataract eye can't even answer a call on modern phones

Really? Is it any surprise that any system that creates artificial offering scarcity instead of quality control of offerings is corrupt to the core?

You will hear several diy ones. I think the worst cost issue is the money for the crappy plastic. Also everyone is using pirated copies of 3d software instead of freecad

Step one: enable dirty buffers. no step 2. Vim will behave like any other tabbed editor. Be it using tabs or buffers. Done. Why it's not the default? Well i don't care as vim is painful in all sorts of ways without customization anyway :)

Ms never misunderstood anything. Their goal just was another one. "people love it? Great, take all away and include a bit of that in the ultimate pro product tier. The rest will be available in an add on"

What's not compromised this week? Anything special happening? Is it Friday 13 and stoner dot something again? Heck even the kitchen computer at my grandmas house may have been target this week... Hopefully that one had salt. Tum dum tiss.

Buy car at charity action. Most are <2000 with engine problems. $2000 in Cali. Tops. Clean it incredibly well. Put a steering wheel cover. Sell at Glendale for 6k to 10k as if it's a private sale.

Hehe, and didn't even tried the car section. I now avoid any car with steering wheel covers in the picture as all the wreck scams I've seen had them. Safer to miss the few false positives.
