rooting both is the same conceptually, your guess is right. Then there's also the privilege of the apps. which i have no idea how it works on ios.

you assume too much of rooting. getting root access is NOT the same as looking at source code. and i don't know anyone reversed the code for IOS besides the small activation parts. loggers could pretty much do nothing if device is not stock

The only one i tested, combo box, failed on Android. When you click the arrow, keyboard goes up and hide the options. If you scroll or press back to move keyboard, options are gone

Ios also collects all that. It's just more difficult to see inside a safe. Remember the js code that showed all the places the phone have been using a mere phone backup data? ios is already worse then all of this

and google lost focus. not because is has too many products. heck no! but because it's wasting more time trying to be a ... for a lack of a new term let's use the old one: "portal" name all companies that lost focus and became "portals" in

If you take into account they could be making 30/mo for each use FOR FREE I'd say they are :) Or, what is muchmore likely, as corporates don't pass on free money ever, their market is not and so theycan't make free money like in the usa.

here in the US people still buy it... and mind you the white one, because everyone have the black iphone. The operators would be suckers if they give that for free instead of $30/mo i'm happy with my nexus. don't even have to open the setti

adblock is a waste of time. i use 3 browsers, a mobile phone, a tablet... i would go insane with something unpractical as adblockers. Just use this instead: http://someonewhocares.org/hosts/ work with any browser, any OS.

Just do it. It's all case by case. If you think it will work, make it work.

I like #1. domain knowledge. how many bad programmers i've seen sit down to vomit up code without having no idea which problem they were trying to solve. but that happens on any area.

education may or may not be college. Elites keep being elites by keeping others out. In the past that was done via extremely expensive education clubs.

and buying yahoo helps that how? most yahoo customers are being redirected to adcenter anyway.

that's a very good point. never though about it that way. yahoo should just raise the price for the next round of the deal instead of selling then.

So, they want to buy Yahoo just because they can't hire sales people? yeah, makes a lot of sense.

Specially for a company that recently fights competition with frivolous copyright lawsuits instead of innovation... But then, somebody once said: institutions fight to maintain the problems they were created to address.

ironically, it could work super easily on a $99 touchpad. since you have all the UNIX stack to play with, and no corporate control-freak limiting what you can do with your device.

How effective is this tactic? i don't know how i would feel if someone stand up to speak against some law i sympathize (eg reduction of political benefits) and waste days reading cookbooks just to fuck everything up.

The scariest part of the history is that people had no idea they were buying dead whales. Just like today even in food its optional to have a list of ingredients... So it seems we haven't improved much in this regard.

Any decent production engineer could do that. What you are saying is what bad civil construction engineers were saying before someone actually sit down and made one of niemeyer's project reality.

I know but i still have a point. They decided Not to implement USB host. Create a custom dumb one write port. Its so dumb it doesn't last one single generation (all docks had production ceased ... except nexus one's that are back)

And if you bought ANY dock (desktop, car) for your other 200 nexus models, get ready to buy a new one for the latest one.
