Nice, as of this morning, I couldn't get video out of my mid-2012 rMBP after about 20 GPU Panics I've reported over the last week. I imagine they must have thousands of them coming in as they start to fail.

$7.87 billion in 2013 / 365 days / 24 hours / 60 minutes / 60 seconds is about $250 a second. Edit: using more up to date data: $3,300,000,000 in the 3rd quarter of 2014 / (365/4) / 24 / 60 / 60

I can see numerous ways. Selling a piece of (previously developed) software in Bitcoin is an easy one. The software will depreciate over time, but we're not talking about something that has to last forever, I don't think. Automate

Do you know this? It seems obvious to me, but calling it a "0day" suggests that maybe the attack is (at least marginally) more sophisticated than the obvious correlation attack. Not to mention, as far as I can see, we have no idea

This is my understanding too. Real canaries die in the wild for reasons unrelated to the signal it intends to send. The canary in this case is basically a date of claim.

What if I were to gift it capital and have it simply collect interest/dividends from the exploitation of said capital (either via loaning it out with an algorithm or by building a profitable business with it)?
