On a side note most of these systems use YAML and as a dyslexic i really have a hard time spotting indenting issues and issues where i should have been using lists. Getting an ide with support for it doesn't make it better.

Don't give too much notice. My contract had rachet in that ratchets up more months the longer you are at job. Instead of the 1 month notice that is normal in the Netherlands I had to give two. I was already burning out / unmotivat

I had the bug with the disk encryption screen on my xp13 as well. Removing the splash screen and just having a terminal helped it boot normaly. Something along the lines of this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/854388&

Usually the fuel usage is very low per hour if parked. The advantage of having the engine running are heating or airconditioning and sometimes the fancy media system that might go into low power / radio only mode when the engine is off
