The message and comments actually raise more questions. While they might not completely remove the i386 libraries, they will be marked as "legacy" and will not see any updates (frozen 18.04 versions). But what about security fixes

ThoughtWorks and ThoughtBot are different companies, of which TW is well-known due to Martin Fowler, the many debates about the relevance of TDD, agile practices, etc, and they have offices all over the world. They started work on tools, li

Agree, security here is a bold claim. Size does not imply security. Traceability, reproducibility, maintenance/rate of release, etc are... I'd rather use official images as they are maintained and reported against (or reported to

Install a VM, share folders with the binary/source code. You could keep it to .Net core, but this limits integration. But the answer of RDP is not sarcastic... as it is probably the only way to get what you want.

To me Che is an Enterprise IDE, which integrates with the deployment platform. The majority of people just want an IDE in the browser, like c9 or vscode.

My biggest problem with Theia is that the menu structure and appearance/feel is very different from the actual VSCode editor I am used to on the desktop. This was not the problem with Codercom. It reduces friction to move from the desk

I tried both Theia and Coder-com, but at the moment it seems Codercom comes closest to the actual VSCode feel. Theia has modified stuff to be better suited to use from a browser, but actually this took away from the customization options. I

The reason this permission exists is that contributions will not be owned by your employer, but will be part of the project. It depends on your employer if they allow you to work on personal software that they do not claim ownership for or

Flatpak does not claim to be secure. This is also clearly stated in the FAQ. They provide a means of separation of applications. Sandboxing is not per se a form of security, just like this was with Docker in the 'early days'.

Nowhere on the page they claim to be secure. See also the https://flatpak.org/faq/ . they are aware that security benefits at the moment are at a minimum. Perhaps the term 'sandboxing'is being misunderstood as

Fedora and Red Hat are not the same thing. Sure, there is a relation between the two, but inclusion in Fedora is not an endorsement or guaranteed inclusion in RHEL. I just wonder why the author of this page does not disclose his name... And

Flatpak is still a side project worked on by my colleague. Although he is employed by Red Hat, it is not a project led by our employer. AFAIK there hasn't been any work done to get it in RHEL, ...

The developers are employed by Red Hat, but that does not make this a Red Hat endorsed product. It is not included in the current offering of RHEL and unlikely would be in a new(er) version as the technology is immature/not well enough

Teletekst is still active in the Netherlands, and they also offer a web interface and Android/iOS app to expose the info on your mobile devices. It is still beloved as all info is short and easy to consume while on the go. Fits perfect

Right, but you can enable A2 which uses a different drawing algorithm and adjust the full refresh period, but it is NOT a means to play games or watch a movie. If you do, you are probably using it wrong to begin with ;-)

I have the MaxCarta and Max2. I use the older model using network connectivity, and the Max2 using HDMI. It is really a decent experience... just the refresh rate is slow. I use it for writing and reading large documents. And as concluded,
