This article also reminds me of where I used to pick up CD's back when they first came out - Tower Records in Mountain View, CA. CD's - still around; Tower Records - not so much. Interesting how it all worked out.

I don't think that an advert has provoked me or anyone I know to buy anything. Samsung's latest ad campaign is a definite strategy shift though that has grabbed attention (as was the point of course).

I am fairly certain, having never met Steve Jobs, that he was a bit more than just marketing hype and product fluff. In my mind, that was part of the public facing that he allowed in the open. I, as a complex organism with multiple thought

Interesting read and an interesting idea. When I was through the first read, my comparison for what I had just read was that it reminded me of 'The Phantom Tollbooth.' Thanks for posting and good luck with the project.

I have had to grind out many tutorials over the years; helped my immediate focus since there were obvious steps to take towards a goal I wanted to acheive. Nothing says love like getting your feet wet via tuts!

Very well put and I certainly agree. This thought process can also lead to far more realistic goal planning for all walks of life (you give a great example about weight lifting). Learning just to learn is admirable in and of itself but perh

That question is of course based on if we technically 'left' the last recession; I realize that by the supposed numbers we are out of the recession though it certainly doesn't feel that way. I would say that hard times are certainly not ove

Since about the age of 18, my gut has always been wrong. Always. Took me many, many moons to realize this but, once figured out - I Always do the exact opposite my gut recommends.
