I think this extends towards a lot of issues. The "Whoa, don't be so serious, it's just a joke" card gets played time and time again to hide people's insensitivity to others.

Thanks for this post. I think it's really great that you pointed out that working 24/7 does not guarantee success but rather how well you use your time. 4-day work weeks can be just as effective as 5-day work weeks. At some point, everyone

Love the idea - I had the same but didn't follow through on it. Love the clean design and tells you exactly how it works. Good luck!

Thanks. So far, I've had several people mention to go for it. I'm wondering if I should build out an MVP or work on creating just a marketing page with a screenshot on what the product looks like?

Thanks for sharing it! Just wondering, what's your inspiration for creating the puzzle? Did you have to design your own puzzle or it came from somewhere else? Haven't had the chance to test it out yet but will do when I get home (does it wo

Thanks! At this stage of the game, I've heard great things from the founders and they have had a successful exit before. I was planning on meeting up with them anyway even I've decided not to be employee #1 for now. Is it fair to ask about

Thanks! I do have a fear that the paychecks might be coming late and I have several dependents as well as student loans to repay which I think would be too risky for me at this stage of my life. I do appreciate your comments though. How can

It's not a lot of money earned per app but good apps have been able to achieve decent success. There's no reason why the hardware manufacturers should ensure every single developer that signs up makes a decent living. Make an app, market it

Thanks for the story. It reminded me of why sometimes there are things more important than career success. While I'm nowhere near having kids or a wife, I've always thought about the tradeoffs between them while constantly reminding myself

Thanks Nick! I definitely agree that there's a lot of potential with the site - especially since your maintenance costs are only for server and photos. Once the data is in there, it doesn't really have to change much either right?

Hi Nick, Saw your site when it first launched and really loved the look and feel of it. Just curious about the numbers for the site - i.e. maintenance costs, monthly visitors, etc. How much would you value the site? I'm sad to see that you'
